Position: Estimation Engineer - for L&M service (Labour & Materials)

Division: Fire Systems

Work Location: Dubai

Salary Offered:

Contract Period: 12 months Extendable

Job Responsibilities

Good awareness of fire protection and fire detection systems/materials/equipment’s.

Very good knowledge on the MS office software (Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook).

Taking accountability and Responsibility of the works to be carried out.

Good knowledge on the suppliers/their contacts for fire systems in UAE.

Moderate technical knowledge on the fire system materials (fire alarm system and firefighting system materials).

Co-ordination with internal departments (Operation team, Site team, managers, and other disciplines in the organization).

Good knowledge on the engineers site report, understand their comments, rectification, remedies etc. (it is internal document).

Preparation of Quotations, costing sheets etc.

Ability to build very good relationship with customers/end users, facility management companies, suppliers/vendors, and sub-contractors.

Required Skills

Very good skills on maintaining a proper tracking records of daily works.

Experience 3-4Years in fire services

Holds an BE or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering minimum.

Good communication skills in English and Hindi.

Good skills on negotiation with suppliers (for only small value negotiations with supplier).

Teamwork environment.

Work speed - will have to submit many numbers of quotations (small values) in daily basis.

Understanding and good awareness of all PSA jobs, its FM companies, and their contracts requirements.

 Moderate knowledge on the site works of fire alarm, emergency/exit lights, and firefighting systems.

Basic knowledge on the local civil defense requirements.

Keeping a swift communication/response with customers.

Holds an BE or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering minimum.
